Have you
ever been away from your church for some time but learned you were going to get
to return to share fellowship and worship with your family and friends in the
near future? You have a feeling of
excitement and yearning in your heart for that day to arrive as soon as
possible. You know when you return to
the church that the void in your life will soon be filled with such joy and
love. These feelings of the heart must
have been like that for the pilgrimage of those traveling to Jerusalem
mentioned in the 84th Psalm.
Prayer: Gracious God
we thank you for small and large things in our lives like coming home. Thru Christ our Lord, Amen.
